I want to create a plan to create a game called Realm of Forgotten Souls. Its a 2D Text Based game that will show a 9x9 square image in the world with the player in the center of the screen. The player will be able to move around the map and find monsters, active players, and portals (caves, ladders, portals, entrances, etc.) that will lead them to other areas to find new monsters. Certain areas will have bosses with unique abilities that could change the map with its abilities, can give damage over time attack against player, can port players to other areas to complete task to continue fight if the boss has that ability. Players will be able to create a clan for 10k gold, and clans can be viewed publicly by online players showing clan lists, and showing clan details of players in clan and leader of clan. Players will be able to deposit gold and items into their banks when they are inside of town areas. Players can message other players, view online players, and view player details such as basic character info and gear type, with ability to show gear info. Towns will have their own chatrooms where players can talk to each other that are in that town. Players will be able to view their character information. see whats in there backpack, view their stats, quest logs, gear, and titles. Starting out: New players will need to register a new account before they can login, and have email verified. All user input must be validated, and prepared statements must be used, and proper planning to prevent 1st tier, 2nd tier, and 3rd tier MySQL injections. User input must have the latest validation standards to prevent xss attacks or any attacks that can compromise user data/accounts, or server. Thorough planning must be made to prevent exploits. New players must choose if they are male or female when registering, because that will be public basic character info available for players to see. New players will start out as a mortal. When they login after registering an account, they will see a welcome to realm of forgotten souls message saying welcome to the game, its a massive mobile multi player online role playing mayhem. Explore the world, or fight thousands of monsters and level up to become number one! (or a message along that line of thinking). After they see the welcome screen, they will be taken to a news screen where news by the admin will be displayed to players. It can have a default message if no new news messages are set. After the news display screen, players will be taken to a Main Menu. In the main menu they will have the ability to Play (takes them in the world or into a town, default town). Rename (every 7 days a player can rename themselves if they want to a name not taken). Top Characters takes them to four lists, Top Experience, Top Monster Kills, Top Player Kills, Top Donations. These lists will contain the top 10 players on each list. The main menu will also have a rules link to take players to rules of the game. It will have an about section explaining the game being made for mobile phone users as an interactive online multiplayer game where they can fight thousands of monsters, explore the world and discover new areas, Search for the hidden mysteries that reside within the game, and level up to become number one. Like there is a top players list there will be a top clans list that shows the combined total of all members players for those lists. There will be a feedback button for players to contact feedback to make reports on players, game related issues, compliments, or improvements they feel should be targeted. There should be an account section if they want to change their account related info they signed up on other than sex change or name changes (since thats already handled). There will be a news section ordered from all the newest news, to all the oldest news of all the news messages displayed to users when they log into game. They will also need a logout button separated from other buttons to log out of the game. This game will be built using html, css, javascript, php, mysqli, and any other language you feel is required for efficient runtime of game. When a player Presses Play, they will be taken to the world if they quit in it and never made it back into town. If they are in the world, there will be a warning message before they are in the game telling them they will be vulnerable to players and monsters and that they are entering the world. If they are in town (where they default to starting town Hammerfall) they will also be able to have access to shop area where they can buy gear specific to that town. Some town will have certain gear that other towns don't have. In the shop you will be able to purchase Helmets, Necklaces, Shoulder Pieces, Mail, Gloves, Leggings, Boots, weapons, and items. Players start out at Level 1, with 100 gold available to them, as a mortal. In town they have the option to goto World, if they click it, they will be taken to a warning message that they are going into the world and will be vulnerable to monsters and players attacking them, and to Enter or Go back to town. Players will have A Base experience level with different subgroup levels. The subgroup levels will have their own experience and level that provide them particular stats when leveling those sub levels. The Base experience level will be the combined total of all sub group experience. The subgroups will be Fighter, Ranger, Mage, Healer. Players will be able to view there experience, level, subgroup levels, and sub group experiences. Players will have stats like strength, dexterity, agility, intelligence, spirit. These stats control how hard a player hits, how often they crit, how often they miss, how often they get hit by players and monsters, How hard players spells hit and how much mana spells use and how much they crit, how fast players recover hp/mana/fatigue. Strength will make players hit harder and have more hp. Dexterity will determine how often you hit/miss. Agility will determine how often you crit and how much fatigue you have. Intelligence will determine how hard your spells hit/crit and how often. Spirit will determine how much mana/health/fatigue you generate and how quickly for each one. Like how much mana every second, how much fatigue every second, and how much health every 15 seconds(slow starting out). A mortal is slower race with slower regeneration time. But they can attack with weapons, and cast spells. An Undead is someone with slightly stronger weapon attacks, can attack faster, can move slightly longer than a mortal, but cannot cast spells. A Lich is a powerful mage caster that has fast mana regeneration time and fatigue recovery and can hit a little harder with spells, and can move longer than both mortals and undeads, but can't attack with weapons and can only cast spells. Gear will give you armor, which decreases damage you take by monsters and players. It can also increase your stats giving you a little boost. Gear will not have a level requirement. When players go into the world, they can move around north east south or west, letting them move around the map. While moving around the map they will face a few different instances. Unique map areas, where special coded sections that allow for game advancement mechanics for the players to work together to advance game and unlock maps that aren't accessible. Certain monsters can also change the map area such as have acid on the ground that can do damage over time if you are standing in it. Or fire or rocks that block your path, or a hole in the floor that can take you to a different area. You will be able to find entrances to other areas on the map. Monsters block your path from you moving, and so do players. This is a strategic action based game where players can kill each other in the world with no level restraints. If you die, all your gear, backpack items, and gold drop on the ground, and you are a skull that prevents players from accessing the pile. Piles on the ground time out after 30 minutes. A player that is dead can choose to resurrect if they want which will resurrect them and remove there corpse from the world allowing anyone to access their pile. If a player completes 5 levels as a mortal, when they die and resurrect, they are offered to resurrect as an Undead, and Joining the Armies of the Lord of Chaos. A powerful dark mage of the land ruling over the lands of Chaos. If you complete 5 levels of an undead without dying, and you die after completing 5 levels, you are offered a chance to resurrect as a lich. If you die by a mortal as a Lich, You are forced to either resurrect as a mortal, or resurrect as an undead undergoing another 5 levels of undead to be lich again. The mortal that slays a lich gets automatically awarded a Slayer Title on their character for killing a lich. If you have a slayer title and you die by a undead or lich, you lose your slayer title. Mortals are fighting against Chaos to save the lands and prevent chaos from spreading. Undeads and Liches are minions of the Lord of Chaos, the Ruler of the Land of Chaos, the Realm of Forgotten Souls. Chaos will have challenges hidden across the land, where players will be forced to work together to solve a puzzle that chaos has left behind to unlock sealed lands, and towns across the world, so all players may gain access to these treasures. A player that has killed more than 50 players is cursed. He can no longer go back into towns and is forbidden to access them, and is stuck out in the world, or Over at Stumpys Outpost (further away from beginning town) where they allow Killers. If a player kills more than 50 Players, He gets a Killer title. Armor value will only have a maximum of 1000 armor which is minus 100% of damage by players/monsters. When a player levels fighter, They increase in strength by 3, and 1 spirit, 1 agility. If they increase Ranger they get 3 dexterity, 1 spirit, 1 agility. If they increase Mage, they get 3 intelligence, and 2spirit. If they increase in healer they get 3 Spirit and 2 Intelligence. Monsters will have a chance to drop gear and gold. They can have a chance to drop more than one item depending on the monster. The game will have a dark theme/style to it. Players in the world will be able to see there attack logs, attack players/monsters, cast spells such as mage spells or healing spells, can toggle the attack logs between attack logs, world chat, clan chat and be able to chat with people in the world or people in their clan. Players in the world have access to their backpack so they can drink potions and use items/equip gear if they want. They also have access to view their character to see their character info like they would if they were in town. Players that don't move or make any actions events trigger, after 2 minutes get taken to the main menu as a safety feature in case they are having network connection issues while they are in the world. In town there will also be a post office where players can send items or gold to other players. Post office will return Items after 7 days, and will delete them after 7 days after return. They can invite other players to their clan if they aren't in a clan. Player clans are basic character info accessible to everyone.
